My dachshunds LOVE this food! My VERY picky eater senior dachshund now “asks” to be fed. He seems a lot more perky & playful too. His skin & fur have a healthier appearance as well. Yay! The weight loss plan pooch is looking more svelte. Better yet, there’s no more extra food to steal since the elder isn’t leaving any kibble in his bowl (because of the sincere Hill’s food love).

Recommended by my vet because of having an 8lb dog. She gained 2lbs very quickly when we rescued her which was not good. Our Vet said this food would help her feel full longer and lose weight. Appears to be true on both. She will eat freely and has seemed happy with the food from the beginning. Lost the 2lbs (which doesn’t sound like much however when she should be 7-1/2 - 8lbs that was a great weight gain) in a fairly short period. She eats all she wants throughout the day and appears very satisfied. Healthy and very happy doggie�❤️

My Doxie, has never cared for dry dog food. After 10 years of trying many different brands, I finally gave Hill Science Diet a try.As soon as I opened the bag, my dog was all over me. I gave him a few bits to try, acted liked he was getting the best treats ever. He can’t be any happier with mealtime now. He has lost weight and become much more energetic. Two weeks into this food, I think I finally have found his perfect diet.

Currently we purchased metabolic weight management for our chihuahua as she struggles to keep her weight at a reasonable level. With that brand of dog food we have been super successful by giving her two portions in the morning and at night. She never gets tired of it!! We bought this to see if we would have the same luck. I gave it to her for 3 or 4 feedings and she started acting lethargic and not like herself. Our terrier did fine on it, so we gave it to him. I could not tell that he lost any weight on it. We will continue to purchase hills science diet metabolic weight management at the vet for our chihuahua. FYI there seems to be a run on this food from the vet, everyone swears by it for losing weight.

My 2 older Chihuahuas love this food. One of them had gained too much weight and the Vet put her on prescription Hills dog food. After a few months, my dog refused to eat it. Putting her on regular food, even though it was grain for, but her weight back on. I saw this, so thought we would give it a try. I also bought the Heather Weight Wet food. I measure it out for both of them twice a day. They love it and have both lost weight. Its so good to see them playing again.
