My older dog was suffering with arthritis when I switched to Science Diet "Mobility" formula. I regret not starting her on it 5 years ago. She has shown an improvement in the 3 months since she first started on it.

Hills Science Diet has the best reputation for safe & well sourced ingredients in the dog food industry.It was on "special" and I wonder iif it was old. It seems much drier & brittle than other brands. (That could be good for canine teeth)I will check the next bag for chronilogical dates to see if it's being rotated in the wearhouse.

Our pug Annie has had surgery on both her knees, and still has trouble crouching to urinate. After 6 weeks on the adult healthy mobility food there is a noticeable improvement. She takes Cosequin also, but that alone didn't do much. Our boy pug, Billy Bob, has spinal spondylosis and is overweight. We are on an emergency weight loss diet, so he is eating Metabolic + Mobility, and is steadily losing weight. When he gets to the correct weight, we may switch to healthy mobility for both of them. I am very pleased with the Science Diet foods that we have tried!

We were using another highly recommended brand for our Yorkie but noticed she didn't like eating it. We switched to this brand and she gobbled it up. We have to be very careful about how much we set out at one time because she'll eat it all!! She did gain weight right after switching, so if your dog likes it too, be careful with portions!

I switched my dogs from another Science diet kibble to this about 6 months ago. My older dog (11yo) has been getting a bit slower in getting up and running around and my vet said a good like this would maybe give her some additional nutrients. I also switched my 6yo dog to it as well. After being on it for a couple months my older dog is definitely showing signs of just feeling fresher overall! I’d definitely recommend trying out if your dogs are just experiencing some side effects of getting older.
