I have tried for years to find something that would clean my dog's teeth....that they would actually put in their mouths. Mostly they would sniff at each new "treat' and walk away....wouldn't even take a bite. These were literally my LAST attempt and I was thrilled when they not only put them in their mouths but actually spent some time chewing on them....again.....big, no make that HUGE dogs who usually don't chew so much as inhale chew sticks. The love these, and spend at least a few minutes actually chewing on them....bear in mind both my dogs are over 150lbs. I have already reordered the large size and plan to make it a permanent item on my shopping list.

Though not a substitute for regular dental checkups and cleanings per your veterinarian’s recommendations, both my dog and I absolutely love Greenies and I highly recommend them to everyone who has a dog who is not a fan of having their teeth brushed at home every day. Not only are Greenies noticeably effective for keeping my dog’s teeth and gums healthy between vet visits, but they also neutralize odors and keep his breath smelling fresh. Better yet, he absolutely LOVES them. It is his after-dinner treat and there are few things that make him more excited! Win-win and great product.Try storing them in the freezer — they last longer and your pup has to work harder chewing on them.

Our seven year old white GSD is not a big treat eater. However, he had developed some very bad breath from his raw chicken breast breakfast and wet food lunch and dinner daily. So, I decided I needed to find a dental treat for him. Of course, I didn't start with something inexpensive (not-so-bright me!) I didn't expect him to like a Greenie, so I decided to buy a bag and then move to something else. Well, that wasn't smart for my wallet, but it was great for Rupert, his breath, and his teeth. He loves them! We saw a change in breath and teeth within a few weeks.Now, Greenies are a daily treat, and an addiction for him. My husband and Rupert take medication at 10:00, so we have an alarm that goes off at that time. We call it the Ham Song because our dog gets his meds and a little ham at that time. Then at 2:00, an alarm plays for the Greenie! He prepares his mouth with lots of licking, my husband gives him the Greenie, and Rupert leads him to the back door to go out and enjoy it. Thus, the Greenie Song and Routine are enjoyed and done!

This box of four pouches of Greenies is a great way to buy in bulk the treats that I feed my dogs day.I've been feeding Greenies to my rescue dogs for almost a decade now, and they work very well. Neither one of my dogs has ever had a dental or gum issue. The dogs think it's just a treat, and I like that Greenies are American made.
