Dog Hill's™ Science Diet™ Adult Small Bites

My dog seems to love her food. It doesn't upset her stomach, (no excess gas) and she has never refused to eat her food. All the dogs I've had have eaten this, tolerated it well and seemed to enjoy it. My vet recommended this brand when I got my first dog over 20 years ago and I've used it since with all the dogs I've had. The kibbles are sometimes hard to find so I appreciate the value for the money as well as the size and type of food I need. It is cheaper here than the pet store right around the corner. It is very convenient to just order it and have it delivered. It is always fresh and just what the vet ordered!

We love this food for our dogs. Our vet recommended we get the Hill's Science Diet and we haven't looked back. We have a boxer, chocolate lab mix and Italian greyhound mix and they devour this food. The box is older and with age comes digestive issues. Before we switched her to Hill's Science Diet, she would get constipated at least once a month and we tried numerous foods. Since switching in 2016 she hasn't had any digestion issues. They love this food and even though its a little more expensive than some of those other brand foods in my opinion it is worth every penny.

I started my dog on "designer" dog food as a puppy with only the best ingredients (no fillers or by-products in the first few ingredients) but he started to have heart problems as he got older. I found out that the brand I was using didn't have taurine which is essential to heart health in dogs. Unfortunately my lil guy is super picky, so it took a while to find a new brand with ingredients that were good and that he would actually eat. This specific formula of Science Diet (I tried others first) is the only one that he eats. In addition, I give him raw chicken hearts (cringe) from whole foods to further supplement his taurine intake.

There aren’t too many dog foods that my snobby dog will eat, especially when their are other alternatives. Surprisingly, Alison will eat some people food and go eat this dog food afterward as well. She hadn’t done that with any other dog food. Typically, she wouldn’t touch her dog food for days. Yes she’s spoiled, but she’s my baby so I give her what she wants. My Vet recommended that I feed her this, gave me a sample bag that Alison loved and now I’ll be subscribing to it.

This dry dog food is terrific, I had to do a fast current dog food to this dog food transition by bypassing the standard transition method and both my jack russells adapted very well without any side affects to Science Diet Brand, I don't recommend to do this fast track with all dogs, I just had no choice....All the other brands that I purchased that said "Natural and Healthy" were not doing the job and were consistently unavailable when I placed the 2nd or 3rd order. I got so frustrated that that I went against whatever anybody else was saying about this and it worked perfectly for my dogs. This product may be pricey for some people including myself but it's worth every penny I paid for it. In less than 7 days, my dogs are more active and happy and they are eating healthier and better. My dogs have never eaten dry food by itself with delight as they do with this brand, so it's nice to know that if I run out of canned wet food, they wont have any problem eating dry for a couple of days. The other plus about this brand is when I contacted Science Diet on their business hours, someone picked up the phone and I didn't have to leave a message, I was able to speak with a knowledgeable product agent who answered all my questions. I am glad I switched and Science Diet is my dogs preferred dog food from now on which I can now purchase with confidence and trust.
