Madame CHANTAL de Beauvoir is an 10 week old Lynx Point. My order arrived yesterday, and she absolutely loves the Lamb recipe. I want her to have the very best nutrients. This is of course the same as humans, we have your personal favorites. This morning she could not wait to get her breakfast. I also ordered a small bit of Harakiri Plains dry food. She went completely crazy for this dry food. I wanted to introduce her to Ziwi Peak at a very young age. Before; she was able to develop a preference for foods with renderer meat and other horrible additives. I hope that this is not a fluke and she will continue to enjoy her , Ziwi Peak!

We have a cat that's had a colitis-type illness for about a year and a half. She was on prednisolone for a year to control symptoms, during which we experimented with lots of different canned foods, looking to eliminate possible allergens. Long story short, the difference with this food was immediate and drastic - her digestion improved enough that we were finally able to wean her off the prednisolone, which improved her overall health. She still has occasional very mild bouts of passing mucus, but it's nothing at all like what she'd been suffering with. We and our vet are impressed. It's worth the cost to try it if you're in a similar situation.

Includes lamb meat plus 6 lamb organs which I think is terrific. Also includes green mussels and dried kelp. Chickpeas are listed as the 5th ingredient, but since there are no gum thickeners (hurray) I assume this is used instead. All other ingredients are the usual minerals and vitamins. My cats gobble this food and look for more. Also, you are getting 6.5 ounces of food per can for your money instead of the usual 5.5 :) Protein 9.5%, fat 6%, ash 3%.

My cat is on a limited ingredient diet. He had liked two other lamb foods which were discontinued. I was very happy to find Ziwi Peak. My cat cleans his plate every day.

As we all know, it’s extremely hard to find a cat food our kitties are going to consistently like. But my cat really enjoys this food. I appreciate the care that goes into making a quality food for my pet.
